high speed vibration

<!-- / icon and title --><!-- message -->previously posted on another board......Help!! started feeling a vibration on a 3.5 hr trip home a few weeks ago, was fine on the drive there, sat for a few hours and got in to drive home and as soon as i hit 85 km/h this vibration was felt by time i hit hwy spd at 110 it was shakin ***** outta the truck dropped speed down to 100 for rest of trip home. had tires rebalanced and vibration slowed down, let it go for a few days as i wasnt driving it much and the vibration started getting bad again. the tire shop said that they checked cv/ball/ujoints an wheel bearings. not sure it was done right in the first place..but now i have a knocking on the drivers front, when i turn right and it sounds like it did in september when i had the passenger side done, which was a knockin on turning left, im lost. there is almost no play in the driveshaft. ive checked a few other things, picked a few other brains to no avail.

post back with the results from installing the new dampener but based upon your description a failed ball joint is suspect.
