newb posting
hi, got a 1979 f100 last weekend in a trade for a cheap camry i got from my brother in law. was going to trade plus cash but kid said he would trade even if i wanted. needless to say, "plus cash" was dropped from vocab and i drove it home.
its a 300 inline auto 2wd with 66k miles. think i am third owner, baby blue with no body rust, newer paint job but flaking and scratches that have rusted a little. newer seats swapped out, i think newer ford rims also, no tailgate and blacked out lense all around.
plan to drive it for a while and fix it up a little when i get the chance but mostly drive it daily.
first up is new tail lense, hood spring and wiper ****. then clean up grill and repaint it, then maybe amateur paint repair on scratches and flakes. and whenever i find a non FUBAR tailgate, paint and bolt it on.
no pics yet but plan to post tomorrow with few newb questions also
