ABS light does not turn on when engaged
Hello,
Could someone tell me what I should at as to why when I see hit the brakes I feel the pedal pumping but I don't see the ABS light turn on. When I turn the truck on all the lights light up and I do see the ABS than.

ABS light does not turn on when engaged
Your not supposed to see the ABS light except under two circumstances
1. Your just starting the vehicle and the light comes on as a "bulb test"
2. ther is a problem with the ABS systems and the ABS has disabled itself

I feel the pedal pumping
this feeling should only happen during an abs event (skid). If this occurs during slow stops on dry payment you are experencing (false activation) usually from a weak sensor. As stated there will be no waring lamp.
