exhaust

i have a 2002 ford f150 5.4l.
i want straight pipes
will my engine light or some light come on?
if so how do i get it off and taken care of so it doesn't come on?

either a custom tune, or make a MIL eliminator.

You dont want straight pipes. the noise level it will produce will sound like ***. it will cackle, and upon a hard acceleration the sound it will produce is not only annoying, but embarrassing.

You need pre-cat and post-cat o2 sensors at a minimum. However, a factory tune will need to see a difference between them.

I did straight pipes from the cat back. It had a deep tone. If you cut the cats, it will be obnoxious.

I have heard some clips on youtube with guys doing straight pipes. They sounded sweet until the driver gave it the slightest bit of throttle the it just sounded..horrible.
