Wrench light when towing
Last year on the way down to Texas pulling a 32 ft fifth wheel I had the wrench light come on while towing.With the advice of this forum I purchased a Scan Gage II.On the way home this year I have traveled 1,000 miles so far and no problems yet. I am monitoring EOT and ECT runs about 200 to 208 average with a max of 12* difference most of the time 8* difference .Should I monitor EGT and what should it run.Anything else I should monitor?Next week I will be heading north thru the hills of Tenn this should be the real test, any advise would help.

Same thing happened to me with the wrench light. Not sure of the exact cause because I ended up doing studs and head gaskets. I will say however that the #5 injector was bad. I guess that could have been the culprit. I hope all goes well but if not, I know a great mechanic just west of Knoxville.
