I did about five months ago installed the headers and y pipe. I did not notice much difference in power but the last time I drove my motor home was Nov of 2010 and just this month have started driving it so hard to remember how the power was as my total weight is over 26,000#. If I was to do it over again I would not have done it. There could have been a power difference but I did not feel it. Does go on and bolt up great.
Look up a member on here named Pinky Demond. He installed a banks system and has pictures and a write up on it. When my warranty runs out I am going to get that system.
From all I've heard, it is a difference - but not like it was back in the 70's and 80's when factory manifolds and exhausts were seriously poorly designed.
Whether it is worth it or not depends on your value system. The Banks are very well built, and priced accordingly.
I have considered the Banks headers and y-pipe, but that is all I would do. The rest of the components have less (if any) bang for the buck.
