radiator question

i just ordered a VistaPro radiator. its a four-row with copper and brass tanks. what does the copper and brass do compared to plastic? and is this a pretty good radiator compared to stock 2-row from 302?

Should be fine. What copper/brass tanks do compared to plastic is not leak. I need to replace my radiator when I'm ever home again.

Just wondering, is this the one you're getting Vista-Pro Ready Rad 436009 - Vista-Pro Ready-Rad Radiators - Overview - SummitRacing.com ? If so, did you get it from Summit, or somewhere else?

They last longer, leak less, and "radiate" heat better for a more efficient cooling system.

Vista-Pro Ready Rad 436009 - Vista-Pro Ready-Rad Radiators - Overview - SummitRacing.com

Um, I was looking at the description of this rad and it states under "material" that this is made from aluminum and plastic.

You said your new rad was made of brass and copper.

Is that the right rad from Summit? I'm looking at replacing my rad also because one of the side tanks (plastic) is leaking and want a brass/copper one.

I found a 4 row Spectra Premium Radiator with the same part number 436009 at Auto Zone for $268.99 which has no plastic.

Do I need to worry about a different fan shroud?

Any thoughts?
