Looking for parts

Hi everyone. I just bought a '66 F100 2WD styleside short box. The PO hacked together an air bag suspension that I'm trying to undo. I'm looking for driver and passenger side parts that are circled in the picture below. I appreciate any help. Thanks!

Hey partner, you can simply go to a pipe supply house and ask the counter for a pipe hanger cap for 1/2 or 3/4 pipe. they'll show you what will work for you. they look exactly original

Which part is that a replacement for Hoss? I'm guessing the lower spring mount?

Look at this parts catalog illustration you posted, it clearly shows the spring seats as SEPARATE PARTS.
I just noticed this, and yes you are correct about the location of the seats, but...

C6TZ-5A306-C .. Front Spring Upper Seat-R&L = 1965/72 F100 2WD / 1965/71 F250 2WD / 1972 F250 2WD before serial number M00,001.

C5TZ-5A307-A .. Front Spring Lower Seat-R&L = 1965/72 F100/250 2WD.

ND, Its so obvious to me you are absolutely clueless about a lot.

Just because is shows in pic does not mean it does not come with frame. Its a SERVICE part that means yes you can buy it separate but it comes with frame and is riveted on. In english so you can understand in case of a wreck or other the part is or should say was avail from ford. Back then if you bought a new frame it was part of it. For you to give WRONG info that the upper mount was on FENDER APRON is totally WRONG!

There you go again looking at a illustration in a catalog with NO understanding. Shame really all the misinformation you give out. You do help a lot I give you that but......surely clueless on a lot of stuff.

Your "About Me" feature says 1966 F100. Is this 2WD or 4WD?

The coil springs do not mount to the frame. They sit on perches attached to the radius arms at the bottom, fits into boxes that are attached to the inner fender aprons at the top.

The shock absorbers fit thru the springs, attach to brackets that bolt to the radius arms at the bottom, with shouldered cups, rubber bushings and lock nuts above.

Where exactly are these supposed clips? EDIT: There is one rectanglar retainer per side (has two holes) in between the top of the coils, another pair at the bottom of the coils.

2WD is different than 4WD.

Uh huh, yeah, right. The pot calling the kettle black.

Yes, I agree...for some reason, looking at the pic, I assumed it was part of the fender apron, because unit-bodied Mustangs and etc had that set-up.

There you go again looking at a illustration in a catalog with NO understanding. Shame really all the misinformation you give out. You do help a lot I give you that but......surely clueless on a lot of stuff.
I did not say the spring seats didn't come with the frame, only that the catalog shows them as separate parts.

What other info have I listed that is wrong? I've typed 10's of 1000's of part numbers, name one number I've typed wrong.

I've decoded over 800 VIN's, Rating/Warranty Plates, Certification Labels...where is one error?

I typed 100's of posts inre to Ford history, name one that has wrong info.

Every time you spout off about me typing wrong info, I typed these same responses. How many times have you responded? Next to none, because you're full of it!

You shut your gopher trap because you cannot back up these wild accusations.

How many times have you found one error other than the above?

Frankly, I'm sick of arguing with peeps on this site. The battleship USS IOWA can't come here fast enough, because when it does, I've signed up as a volunteer. So you won't see me here on FTE very much...if at all.

And that's gonna p!ss off a lotta members and some of the high mucky-mucks that run this site, because I've helped 10's of 1000's of people with parts and VIN decodes. There was no one doing this before I joined.

How about you taking on this thankless .. PITA .. no pay job?

ND, refer to my above post. You claimed the upper spring went to apron which it does not. You also claimed the shock went inside of coil spring which it does not. Thats what I was pointing out the misinformation you gave.

If you do not like the fact I pointed this out then have a fine trip on the USS IOWA! You were simply wrong and all I did was point it out.
