Correct cam shaft
i have a 74 390, i have a melling 24218 cam installed with problems. I have goggled melling 24218 and it shows for a 66-70 428 i could never find where it would work for a 74 390. Does anyone know if this cam will work for my engine?

Installed with problems? What problems would those be?
This probably isn't a good cam for a wheezer PU truck smog motor 390 with low compression, and it certainly won't work as well in that motor (if that's what you have) as it will in a 10.5 or 10.6 428.....
