de-gas bottle
How much coolant do I need to drain to be able to remove the de-gas bottle? Not really ready to flush the system. Just want to drain enough to gain access to the d-side valve cover.

A couple gallons from rad, i just put 5 gallon bucket under rad drain petcock 2 gallons or so then you are good

a gallon or so should get you there.
