Locking diff
Hey guys - I was looking at a locking diff for my rear end, and came across this on ebay "Powertrax Lock Right" (85-98 Ford F250 F350 Powertrax Lock Right 10.25 10-1/4 - eBay (item 220293233797 end time Apr-28-11 17:58:27 PDT))
Does anyone have any experience with this company or this product? Any other thoughts?? Thanks in advance. Michael.

I've had both of their lockers in my vehicles over the past few years and been happy with them. Have the lock rite in the 250 and the no-slip in the ranger. Powertrax is owned by richmond gears. The no slip is a little smoother and quieter but I don't think they make them for the 250. They really help off road and on the street (don't need 4wd as much} and are easy to install. Should hold up ok as long as you have a fairly stock truck, heard they don't like real big tires or big hp. Had mine in since 2006 and all is well so far.

Hey, thanks for the quick response, and the advice! I was wondering how well they'd hold up. I do have slightly larger tires, and the truck is pretty much stock although an Edge CS is on the menu for down the road sometime. But, for this truck they say not to expect much more than 90hp over stock (because of small injectors), so hopefully that won't present a problem. Have a great day! Michael.
