I changed the valve cover gaskets on the truck today everything's back on it starts an runs but I have a vacuum leak I broke a couple while taking the plenum off but I replaced them with tuner vacuum problem is it ain't good enough I need to know where I can get basically all the vacuum lines for the driver side so I can just plug em in like factory. An I know if I go to a pick a part they'll be just as old an brittle as my old ones.
take a piece of the plastic line to the parts store, and find a rubber line that fits snug. sometimes get a little smaller line, and heat it with a hair dryer, or heat gun, then push it on the plastic. there is no new factory setup available.
Thats what I tried to do cept I used heatshrink imma gonna go to the parts store an see if I can't figure this out. Someone ought to make a updated an upgraded vacuum line kit it'd sell cause I know I ain't the only one who has trouble with 20 year old lines.
Thats what i did i got the hard tubing and new ends and heat shrinked it all together actually looks good and better than the factory. them little fittings tho are expensive i spent $35 just for the one side.I might go to the pick apart and pull some vacuum systems and rebuild em just to make it easier on some of the members here who don't have the time or can't do it.
