Well flooding has started here with Hwy 14 going under and part of Singleton Parkway blocked from rising river water.
Looks like a few of us from church are heading to Bama land with water and water.......I have a 28ft enclosed trailer that is getting filled up with water and rolling out tonight. Man, not sure I want to see the distruction there.

Northeast Alabama, Northwest Georgia and Southeast Tennessee were the hardest hit areas. Still no power at my house, but houses destroyed 2 streets over. It has been a very busy 2 days and this weekend will be just as busy. Reports are now that nearly 300 people were killed across the Southeastern US. Thanks for the thoughts and prayers. I've been working extra shifts, and then dealing with home issues and helping neighbors when I get home. I actually got to sleep for a few hours last night...no complaints. Some here have lost everything.

"...anyone need anything?"

I could use a generator. Mine gave up the ghost yesterday. Even if just for a few hours to get all my freezer items back to solid again so it doesn't spoil.

Mac, I know where there are a few generators at but they are for sale. Not mine.
If I had one I would personally deliver it to you. God Bless you guys.

Everybody try to have a good day.
Please keep those that are without in your thoughts and prayers.

There were about 14 that died around here. One was an Uncle of a good friend of mine. Lifted the house off of the foundation.
People here are telling stories of being sucked out of their house thru the windows and doors and waking up in the front yard.
Imagine that, huh.

Well we have Made it to Alabama. We went thru Starkville and then Columbus towards Tuscaloosa. They put us in a "safe" lot right off 82, north of the airport. Looks like we will drop the trailers and head inwards to see if we can help clean roadways, esp since all the trucks have police style strobes on them. All I can say is WOW!............totally speachless and in tears seeing hundreds of houses totally distroyed. My hearts go out along with my prayers!

I was stunned when I saw the footage on a news channel today.
It looked like a massive carpet bombing or a nuclear event...
