hurst shifter

how hard is it to put a hurst shifter on a mazda 5speed? does the tranny have to be dropped?

I think if that shifter goes at the top of the tranny, you can access it by the plate over the tunnel inside the cab, you'll need to remove the carpet to be able to see it, of course.

All you have to do is unscrew the rubber boot cover from inside your truck. Remove the handle. Then unsrew 3 or 4. Small bolts. Really easy to do. My bro had the hurst shifter on his truck
