I am working on a 1978 DS100 project. I have not been able to find the tune up specs for it. Specifically, I need the plug gap, point gap and timing specs. Also, I see the timing mark on the flywheel/magneto magnet wheel. Do you know the reference point on the case that it needs to be lined up with? Can you provide the info or point me to a site that will have the specifications?
Thanks for the help.
Steve

THIS IS WHY WE LOVE OLD PEOPLE.
A farmer stopped by the local mechanic shop to have his truck fixed. They couldn't do it while he waited, so he said he didn't live far and would just walk home.
On the way home he stopped at the hardware store and bought a bucket and a gallon of paint. He then stopped by the feed store and picked up a couple of chickens and a goose. However, struggling outside the store he now had a problem - how to carry his entire purchase home.
While he was scratching his head he was approached by a little old lady who told him she was lost. She asked, "Can you tell me how to get to 1603 Mockingbird Lane ?"
The farmer said, "Well, as a matter of fact, my farm is very close to that house. I would walk you there but I can't carry this lot."
The old lady suggested, "Why don't you put the can of paint in the bucket..
Carry the bucket in one hand, put a chicken under each arm and carry the goose in your other hand?"
"Why thank you very much," he said and proceeded to walk the old girl home.
On the way he says "Let's take my short cut and go down this alley. We'll be there in no time."
The little old lady looked him over cautiously then said, "I am a lonely widow without a husband to defend me.. How do I know that when we get in the alley you won't hold me up against the wall, pull up my skirt, and have your way with me?"
The farmer said, "Holy smokes lady! I'm carrying a bucket, a gallon of paint, two chickens, and a goose. How in the world could I possibly hold you up against the wall and do that?"
The old lady replied, "Set the goose down, cover him with the bucket, put the paint on top of the bucket, and I'll hold the chickens."

Do you own a DS100 also, or did you find the comment from someone else? I was given a link to a site that has downloadable original owners manuals for the Suzuki DS100. I think it costs around $5 (one time fee) & you can download all kinds of programs/manuals.

Goodmorning everyone.
Sorry I wasn't on yesterday. I did miss you guys though! I was sick w/ the 24/48 hr. flu! I'm feeling somewhat better today but still have a headache. My son had it all Easter, then me, now my daughter. It hit's you hard & quick! No 2 week incubation period like most colds. You get it w/ in 24 hrs of coming into contact with the person! Thank God it only lasts 24/48 hrs.

Morning Nevada & FTE friends!
Let's get this place rockin'!!!
Come on everyone....join in to say hi or just tell us your plans for the weekend.
We hope to have a couple friend over for a BBQ & campfire (so long as the wind allows us to). I'm looking forward to getting the quad & dune buggy back from the shop so the kids aren't bored too! Spring break sucked for them because we all got sick, but now that we're feeling better... time to have some fun!

Good morning, everyone! Been awhile since I've been on, but I thought I'd say hi. I've been working alot on our new aftermarket parts outlet here at Nevada Pic-A-Part, and so far so good. If anyone needs anything, please let me know. I have access to loads of aftermarket stuff for all makes, and the entire yard of used stuff. I can do interchanges, etc as well. Please let me know if I can do anything for the forum! I'll help anyway I can
