tranny 03 espy jerking

Hi All

My -03 expy started to jerk when going into drive, when shifting into drive nothing happens till you give it about a 1/4 pedel then it takes off with a jerk and chirps the tires. but works ok going into reverce. if you stop and start again in drive its ok. it will only do it when shifting into drive.............tanks

all good. drove good the the day before,then the next day it stared

BTW, your problem is a bad torque converter.

wouldn't also do it going into reverse????????? works great shifting into reverse....................

my wife had the oil changed about a week ago, so i checked tranny oil and it looks good and smells good but they overfilled it. a friend of mine said it had to do with abs not working. I just drove it and there is no abs working going forward,but it works fine in reverse.
