can anybody, without getting on a safety rant, guesstimate a speed. 7.3 PSD auto and 3.73 with 265 75 tires. the truck is stock except for a diablo 54/78 chip. I decided to run a guy in his v6 accord the other day, the speedo was buried for a while and I found my new top speed is limited at 3300 rpm, any educated ideas on how fast I was going? was a dead even run from 70 up but without racks 2 full toolboxes and about 400lbs of loose tools in the cab I think it may have been slightly better in my favor but a guy has to work

Yes. It could be in either, or in first or second. You can be at WOT at 3300 RPM in any gear.
Also, you may want to know 2 or 3 MPH off that calculation to account for added aerodynamic drag.
Not if you want to be accurate. The torque converter is locked at WOT, so there is no slip. If the relationship is not EXACTLY the same then something is broke.
well if it really is double the speed of 1650 rpm in OD that would make it about 117ish. Bozeman, the chip does remove the 94 mph limit and with the chip in 78hp mode will run slighty faster than a 6.0. from a stop I can get about 2 truck lenghts by 90.
yea. not sure if the 6.0's have the 94 limiter because I was pegged before I really got away from him. I can bet a 6.0, but it's a good race, not "blowin 'em away" unless it's a 80mph on up run but it is more than enough to say it is a win. just hope I don't race one chipped untill I get injectors, intake and exhaust and turbo mods
sorry thought u meant the truck was slighly ahead till I topped out then he left me but he kept looking over and read his lips sayin what the f**k around 100mph felt pretty good
YEAH! i like beating up on fart muffler cars, and get the same reaction, like what is that funny sounding truck? Usually it is at the stoplight after they catch back up! Thanks Scott

Sorry, I wasn't clear. Was making a reference to the fact that the power required to overcome wind resistance isn't linear. That's why I recommend taking a couple of MPH off the calculated speed at 3300 RPMs. Either way, a "close enough" answer should be optained.
Your truck moves forward 99.43" per tire revolution. With 3.73 gears the overall gear ratio in overdrive with an automatic is 2.63:1.
Math:
3300 (RPM) divided by 2.65 (final drive ratio [trans overdrive ratio x differential ratio]) times 99.43 (inches of travel per tire revolution) divided by 12 (inches in a foot) divided by 5280 (feet in a mile) times 60 (minutes in a second) = 117.25235 MPH - same as you got by doubling.
