Hey Bill. I'm beat. I spent 10 hours working on my 97 yesterday, going through the front suspension and steering. Ball joints took me close to forever to get changed. I feel like someone beat me with a baseball bat after crawling around under that truck for so long!

How's your day going?

Tell me about it! I still have to do the rear shocks, and the front sway bar bushings, I just ran out of energy last night. I think I'm going to replace the brakes lines, between the hard lines to the drums/rotors

Well, it's easier to do them both. I decided not to do my uppers this time, and it was a pain in the butt. But, usually separating them screws up the boots, so I didn't want to mess with the upper ones, since they were good. Probably should just have sucked it up, and done them.

Do you have a ball joint press? If not, see if one of the parts store will loan you one, a lot of stores do that now.

No, I don't have one, but my step son is a toy mechanic. I'll see if he can do the pressing for me.
