48 -50 headlight bucket question

Should the headlight bucket have 2 or 3 of the springs that hook at the back of the bucket?
I know it is a simple question but I don't know the answer.

It should have 3 springs. I found out when I pulled the headlights off my truck last weekend.

I wouldn't swear it should have 3, or if it actually needs 3. I've seen plenty of them with only 2, and they seemed to work ok. I would say if it works fine as is, don't sweat it.

The reason I questioned it was my originals had three springs and the replacements I got had two. Not an issue to move over two springs to match stock. Just thought I should check to be sure.
thanks.

Actually, the grilles are from trucks that I've parted out over the years. That picture is probably about three years old. Just sold the green grille today. Now I'm officially out of stock on 48-50 grilles.
