V.C. off, and run'n engine
I've taken them off a few times, to torq the bolts and 50 cent, but was hesitant to fire it up, with them off, and more important, with the intake tubes off. I find, removing the covers is much easier, with the the tubes, not there. Should i re-install them, to fire motor up, or leave'm off? I wanna watch to make sure, oils' squirting from the injectors.

As long as you are not running it long and are wearing hearing protection as well as keeping your hands away from the turbo, your engine will be alright. Remember that any sensors you have unplugged will pop up a code, and the sensors for boost and such might also pop codes as you are running the motor naturally aspirated.
