Ok guys, So I noticed today while driving that the radio has started to switch the stations on its own. For example, if its set on 93.3 it will jump to 92.1 or when on 103.7 it will switch to 103.1. And everytime I switch it back to the station I want, it changes it to another a few minutes later.
Im not hitting any buttons or anything. My wife was even looking at me like I was hitting them on the steering wheel. Im not sure why its doing this and want to know if anyone else has experienced the same problem.
Since it appears that you have steering wheel controls,I suspect thats the place to start.I cant tell you much more, but if there is a seperate connector on the back of the radio that goes to the steering wheel controls, unplug it,and see if the issue goes away.If it does, you have a harness problem. If not,I would be looking at either a B+ memory circuit problem going to the head unit,or head unit itself.
Usually, however if its the Memory B+ problem,it will cause the clock to reset, and all station presets will dump.
