For about $70/tire I got 4 matching tires mounted/balanced and out the door from my junkyard. Pretty sure they were off some old chebby or dodge van, either way they were practically new All-terrain/mud tires, fit fine on my 15" stock steel rims and all was good.
Call your local junk yard Monday through Friday, first thing in the morning.
These are common tires and in demand if there's lots of trucks in your area.
(Size you're looking for is 235/75/15 or 215/75/15)
P.S.: If you have the stocker XL steel rims that are fugly gray and want to spiff them up, sand them down and paint/clearcoat them the same color as your truck.(There are many businesses that will match paint colors.)
I saw an ALL blue 92-96 F150 that I would have loved.
Blue grille, blue paint job, blue bumpers, blue headlight bezels, I forget if the rims were blue or not but chrome/all one color look very nice.
I never saw that you asked about the rims I was going to buy, but I came across an ad on Craigslist for some identical rims. So I was going to post a pic that I found on Craigslist just to show you the wheels. Then I saw that you asked about them. So without any further ado, here they are. 16 inch rims
I'm sorry but those are worse than the ugly *** XL wheels. Tell the guy you want to bolt'em up and see how they fit before you buy'em... Not that hard... If he says no, be a jack *** and tell him you don't like his attitude and your not interested in doing business with someone with his attitude...
2 weeks ago i just picked up a set of 31x10.5s with rims, center caps, and trim rings for 120 bucks from a junk yard. there are deals from junk yards out there, you just gotta look hard enough. i also got a sunpro tach and new front brake pads free with the tires.
the offset of the dodge rims is +14mm, and the back spacing is 5".
i dont know what the stock ford rim is though.
my 90 is 2wd and those dodge rims would not fit my truck..wouldnt fit over the rear hub i guess u would call it..i had a set of thornbirds on dodge rims i just wanted to see how it would look but they wouldnt fit.
