jack stands

So I have to take my rotors to get turned. (front) then i plan on installing new pads etc. But I want to lift the front end up and get the rotors turned at the same time to avoid separate trips to the shop. If i buy jack stands, which ones do u guys use and where do u put them under the truck? thanks Jeff

I have 3 ton stands and place them under the axel tubes by the lower shock mounts

X2, I just picked up a second pair at Chinese Freight for $13 on special.

Chinese Freight...thats funny! I do buy a bunch of stuff there thought. I think I spent like $50 there this weekend.

Were your rotor warped or just rough ? If they were warped, turning them will fix it but in a short time, they will warp again.. Better to buy new.. IMO
