I have no back up lights. I checked the bulbs and theyre fine. I checked the circuit and it turns out the sockets arent gettin any power. I suspect the switch but where on the tranny is it? How will i get to it? What are some other probable causes of no back up lights.
It's a switch sort of like the low-pressure switch on the A/C accumulator or the cruise kill on the front of '93-96 master cylinders and it's screwed into the edge of the top cover of the transmission. Follow the wiring harness from the L frame rail up to it.
do your day time running lights work? if not check that fuse it was gone on mine and it took out the back up lights too
