AOD to ZF conversion
The first think you have to do is find the tranny, flywheel, and clutch pedal assembly. I would imagine then you would need to have your computer modified to not try and control the electronics in the automatic tranny. Alot of grief is involved. It is easier IMHO to just buy a truck that already has the setup you want. The swap can be done, tho it is easier to buy a wrecked truck and have the whole donor vehicle so you can have every part you might possibly need.

AOD to ZF conversion
The AOD isn't electronic, so there's no concern with the computer. There will be a LOT of labor involved in adding a clutch pedal under the dash and fitting the driveshafts, but it's probably worth the trouble. I'm looking to go from an NP-435 to a ZF.
