Banks Power

I would like some opinions on Banks products and whether are worth the time and money.
I have a 2003 F 250 with a 6.0 l, build date was March 28, the truck has 132,000 on it and the engine has not had any issues. I have changed the oil and oil filter every 5,000 miles and fuel filters every 15,000. I replaced the egr valve in 2006 and the truck was flashed to eliminate the problem that caused the valve problems.
Anyway with the cost of new trucks being so high and having had a good experience with mine I would like to put some money in it to keep it at peak performance and extend the engine life if possible.
I am thinking about installing the cold air intake, the ram for the egr, the intercooler and the monster exhaust, not sure if I should install duals or single pipe.
Also I would like input on Banks tuners and whether they are necessary or only complement the performance of these items.
Thanks for any and all opinions or experiences.

banks

Personally I prefer the smaller aftermarket companies like DP, Beans etc... Their tuners make more power. Although I've never used Banks stuff, Ive heard its pretty conservative.

I have the Banks Technicooler kit. Unless you're running big power, aftermarket intake, intercooler, and exhaust won't really gain you anything. If you're wanting more power, go with an SCT tuner with custom tunes, but since you've had no trouble to this point and you have a good '03, then I would just let it be. Maybe put some money into a set of gauges.

The only Banks parts worth a Dar are the hard parts, exhaust etc. They make a fabulous exhaust, good materials and fit. Avoid their tuning like the plague, as they do the old school typical dump fuel into it and turn up the timing, not good for a diesel, especially a 6.0. The stock filter assembly will flow over 400 rwhp with nothing more than a drop in filter. Save your money.

If it where me, I would only get exhaust from banks, but then again, an MBRP, or Diamond Eye system is cheaper, and essentially the same thing.

I have the 6.gun and ram air on mine. I don't know about the 6.0 but I can tell you they are top notch for DPF on tunes in the 6.4.

They did their homwork and it works quite well. They are not just dumping fuel. If that were the case there would be problems.
