Should I "retire"?
I've been the Oregon Chapter Leader since the old Northwest Chapter was broken up 4 or 5 years ago............Maybe it's time somebody else takes over? I do enjoy doing it but maybe it's time for another leader?
Your thoughts please!

I can not think of anyone else that would be a better leader than you Don, that is unless you are looking to "retire" from us.

No way, you do a great job as our chapter leader. If it's to much for you while your moving and getting set up, give the job to the assistant chapter leader until you feel your ready to take it back. If you feel like this is to much let us know, I can come up for a day with my pickup and help. What say the rest of you?

I do not think anyone here wants to see you "retire" Don, you are the big kahuna here!
Maybe, you should let the mod gig go, so you can spend more time here?
You need a vacation?..........we can hang until you get back, no worries!......I can fill in until then.

Why?
It doesn't look like anyone around here is clabbering for your head on a pike, so you have that going for ya.

Thanks for the vote of confidence guys. It isn't that I want to quit, I enjoy what I do. I have noticed that some chapters change leaders every year of two. I just wanted to see if anybody wanted some new "blood", new ideas, etc. If you guys are happy with me I'll just keep on doing it. I just didn't want to monopolize the position...........It had nothing to do with my moving or my Mod dutys. I love this place...............

Steve asked that same thing down here about a year ago, and for the same reason.
He got a big vote of confidence from us, and I suspect Don will, too, from you guys.
Besides, when you guys have chapter meetings, he's got the coolest "clubhouse"!

I'm with everyone else. You've been a great chapter leader since I joined, much better than the NC chapter, that's for sure.
I don't want to see you step down...
