Arrow Nominate Your Tennessee Chapter Leader Choice

It has become aware to the Chapter Members that it may be time to elect a new Chapter Leader.
As per the Chapter Leader guidelines it doesn't seem that our current leader is interested any longer. This is taken just from observations, Our current Chapter Leader hasn't been actively posting in the Tennessee Forum since 4/16/2005.

You may even consider telling local dealerships or auto parts stores about your Chapter.
Now I do have to commend our current Chapter Leader. He did step up & save our Chapter from the lock & key. But it may be time to move forward to get this Chapter strong again.

We need strong participation in the Chapter Forum as well as in organization from a Chapter leader. We also need a leader that will actively seek out new Chapter members & approve the list of people wanting to become members.

To be fair, Our current leader will be included for re-election against other active Chapter Members unless he chooses not to.

Currently nominated candidates are.......

Nightrain
Greywolf

Nominations will be accepted until Sunday evening Aug. 7th. 2005 at 3 p.m. Central time.

At that time a poll will be placed with all the nominations listed as candidates. The poll will be open for one week. When the poll closes, the candidate with the highest votes will become the New Tennessee Chapter Leader.

For anyone Intersted in the Chapter Leader Position, The guidelines are posted below.

Chapter Overview And Rules

Once the Chapter is formed, you must organize an off-line meeting of the Chapter to elect a Chapter Leader and any additional officers your Chapter may need such as secretary, treasurer, photographer, etc. Each Chapter needs to have one or more persons with a digital camera so Chapter related photos can be maintained in the Chapter Gallery.

The Chapter Leader is responsible for seeking out new Chapter members on the FTE forums (we provide the tools for this), overseeing the organization of events, meetings and gatherings. Additionally, we encourage Chapter members to seek out new members at auto shows, fellow Ford owners in the work place and Ford truck owners you may encounter in your day-to-day life. You may even consider telling local dealerships or auto parts stores about your Chapter.

Chapters may use the FTE logo and domains in unmodified form with prior approval from FTE for each project. Detrimental, malicious, commercial, for-profit or competitive use of the FTE logo or domains is strictly prohibited. If either is used with another logo or domain, permission must be granted in writing.

FTE reserves the right to print and/or sell Chapter t-shirt, bumper stickers, business cards or other Chapter items in its online store or through a third party in order to help support the costs associated with maintaining and promoting the Chapter on FTE.

Chapter Leaders may not hold a similar position or title with a competitive venture, or otherwise have his position on FTE cause a conflict of interest.

Opinions and/or statements expressed by Chapter Leaders, officers and members do not reflect the opinions of "Ford Truck Enthusiasts, Inc.", its officers, directors, employees and shareholders. Ford Truck Enthusiasts, Inc. assumes no liability for direct, indirect, punitive, consequential, special or incidental damages, accident, injury, loss of property, income or life due to use or misuse of opinions, statements or information, actions or inaction of Chapter Leaders, officers and members.

Question:

Pigeon Forge is happening this weekend, there may be members out of town who can't get online. Should the timeframes be extended?

PS: Something I just noticed- Nightrain's first name is Jacob, and my last name is Jacobs. How strange is that?

2 "Jakes", same chapter...

Talking

I was up in Pigeon Forge this morning with the big truck. Traffic was rediculous. Took me 45 minutes to go 6 miles on hwy. 441.

I forgot about that going on this weekend & we even talked about that Tuesday night.

Perhaps, OK, since the low activity rate it will be extended another week.

August 14th. @ 11:00 a.m. the nominations will be final.

You don't have to be a member to nominate a person or to participate.

Rather good suggestion since I have to head out to Dallas early Sunday morning.

May I suggest a "Home of Record" in Tennessee - for those in the military or travelling.

Just because you are stationed away, does NOT mean you are not part of us.

Especially if you are serving!

AMEN

I wouldn't close it just yet, although I do not forsee any objections.
Parks911 is still out of town.

When a election poll was placed, that usually ends a nomination thread.
