brake rotor

ok, i have a 1993 eddie bauer edition ford bronco, looking at replacing the front rotor. book says there are 2 setups, one is the hub doesnt have to come off, the other the hub has to come off... is there a way to tell which one i have before tearing into it?

Every front rotor I've replaced required removal of the hub. Mostly so the wheel studs can be pressed out to free the hub from the rotor. I think the Rangers, bronco II's and Explorers had a design which the wheels held the rotors instead of the studs. Might be a 2wd thing too.

Yeah you have to take the whole guts out of the hub and it will split into 2. It's a fairly simple job just required some muscle when you put the 2 back together. While your in there it won't be a bad idea to do bearings and hub seal. Also a fairly simple job.
