Or do I have to replace the injector and Glow plug harness?

Thanks
The injector and glow plug harness are combined into one unit under the valve cover.
But you should see that already, you have the valve cover off.

The only thing that bugs me is that I can't find that piece that the connector pushes onto that supposed to be on the top of the glow plug.

Well I pulled the glow plug the other day and found a little hole in it. Today I pulled the rest to check physical condition. Here is some pics.

In this pic you can see the bad glow plug with the hole in it. Also see the difference in color.

Here is another. Why is the body different color? Still cant figure out what happen to the top piece of the bad glow plug.

The bad glow plug is discolored because it had all that combustion heat blowing up through it.
You are very fortunate for the fact that the tip didn't break off and get knocked around inside the combustion chamber.
It would have damaged the piston crown pretty badly.

Okay thanks Dan. Is that why there was a lot of carbon build up on the body of the glow plug ?. I had to use some brake clean to work it out.

Can the glow plug be tested out of the engine?
