Now, i DONT want my v-10 to sound like that. But a little bit more intake noise wouldnt hurt. How do they get noise like that?
Also wheres the MAF sensor on this engine? Would it be hard to mount up on somewhere else if i used different tubing?
The MAF is inside the plastic tubing that houses the air filter, if you look into the side that is connected to the throttle body there is a 2 inch long black plastic hing that is in the middle of the tube that your MAF, now if you take a screw driver and pop off the plastic covering ( there should be a groove to put the screwdriver in) then it pops right off and you can get to the MAF
As for the sound my guess is that they used a thin aluminum that echoes the sound back. just a guess but check out this web sit it might give you some ideas Hogan's Racing Manifolds
