New Owner Needs Help
I recently aquired a 60's 4x4. I was told it was a '66 250. The fenders say its a 100 and the title is missing the year. Anyway to figure out what i have on my hands? Also need good part sites...Thanx.

You may have to go to the picture gallery and start looking at trucks, thats what i'm do . I have a similar problem with a truck i bought . There is also a VIN# on the frame somwere , but WERE ???

My '64 is all factory original 4X4. It has turn signals in the grill adjacent to the headlight. The front differential drives a huge Ball Stud shaped mechanism. You have to fill this mechanism with gear lube periodically. The later 60's F100s have different 4X4 setup and I believe they went to twin I beam. Later 60's trucks also have the turn signal above the headlight near the hood.

Look inside the glove box for the vin on a 61 to 62, on the 63 to 66 it is on the drivers door mid way. Additional vin# are located stamped into the top Passenger frame rail on the 61 to 64s near the shock tower. on 65 and 66s it is located on the passenger top rail below the cab.
Post the Vin # and we can Decifer it for you. Pennsylvania has a nasty habit of putting the wrong years and info on the titles.
