Sat Fault error message?

Sat Fault error message?
I just bought a 2010 F-450 with a single CD factory radio about a week ago. The dealer-subscribed Sirius ended a couple days ago. I noticed this morning that when I select Sat on the radio it says "Sat Fail" and then switches back to FM. I renewed the Sirius subscription this morning, and the Sirius folks say everything is registering properly on their end, but my radio is still showing "Sat Fault". Any thoughts as to what the cause might be?

Generally speaking, the "sat fault" message only appears when there is a concern in the satellite antenna or the satellite module itself. I have never seen this message displayed for a subscriber issue.
Having said that, there is a known glitch in the satellite module programming on these trucks. Diagnosis and programming requires equipment only your dealership has.
