Little snafu here. it is a 98 so that makes it an Expedition not an Excursion. The badge had fallen off the tailgate and was in the glovebox. I looked at it in more detail today. Last night when he said that he didnt have the title I didnt pay all that much attention. It is a nice truck with only 150K on it. I told him that $1500 plus his truck for the Mustang. I am waiting to here back from him now.

I have to admid that I am not that excited now that it is an EXpedition instead of an EXcursion......

Ah thats a bummer!
I used to have a '99 Expedition Eddie Bauer and it was a nice ride, but I would take my excursion any day.
Look on the bright side, with the Expedition you step down to a 1/2 ton frame. Since this will be your daily driver you will get slightly better gas mileage with the 5.4 in the Expy than that of the 5.4 in the X.

I am going to go forward with this. The truck needs some TLC but all in all is a good deal. We agreed on the truck + $1500 for the Mustang. He gave me a deposit last night so as soon as the rest of the cash is in hand the deal is done. It def has a smoother ride than my PSD for sure

i'm driving mine more now since it gets alittle better MPG then my excursion. they do ride very smooth IMO.

Expeditions are very nice! Tracie was looking at one, but went with an '02 Explorer instead (just us 2 and the pups).... which has been sold and then I bought the '02 Excursion.... but anyway...! my older sister had one and when we test drove them, they're pretty nice! Turning radius is great and fitting in a "normal" size parking space isn't as much of an issue as it is for an Excursion. Congrats on a great deal Jim!!

That is the same exact color! It is a done deal he will be handing me the key in the next couple of days I have the title in hand. I was given 1K this am and when he gives me the other $500 the stang is his.
