Welcome from central North Carolina. I have a '48, '49. and 50 F-1 Hope to be able to make two good rides from the three. Glad to have you join us. I like all the body styles-saw a rough 50 milk truck last week

Still getting the hang of this reply thing...

Thanks for the additional welcomes. For those of you within a reasonable distance of Central IL there's been mention of a FTE get-together. I'd be interested! For those of you not within a reasonable distance start driving now and we'll see you this Summer.

It takes me two years to make it as far South as Illinois, especially if I feed the Triceratops the good grub.

Seems that for the past few years I've seen our Illinois folks up at the Dash to the Dells show more than anywhere nearer to home. When I first started showing up here Fat Fendered Ford (Kevin) had a winter gathering and shop tour at his place. Another year a few of us got together at Ted's Garage (a restaurant) in Clinton since it was sort of a central location. If you want to have a get together this year, count me in. Stu

Stu,

I've been to Ted's in Clinton, IL. Good place to meet. I'd be willing to host something for any and all in the Bloomington/Normal, IL area this Summer if you guys are interested. Make sure to put our (McLean County Antique Auto Club) annual show at David Davis Mansion on your calendars. It is Saturday, August 6th in Bloomington, IL. Show is for mostly original vehicles. We love them all but the focus of the club is original.

Welcome to FTE! My first truck was an F-3. I converted it to an F-1 when I determined how scarce replacement parts were.
