I knew the year of the motor and all was wondering from the other numbers if I could be told what the motor came in.as far as the door plate just wanting to know what the truck had originally mainly motor wise, makes it easier at the parts house.

F10GDH30835 // 131 P F103 6 4 C 08 04500 148 4000 61
F10 = F100 2WD

G = 302 2V

D = Dallas TX Assembly Plant.

H30835 = 1970.

131" Wheelbase.

P = Boxwood Green Metallic.

F103 = F100 2WD, 4500 lbs. GVWR

6 4: 6 = Medium Ivy Green Kiwi Vinyl & Light Ivy Green Diamond Basketweave Vinyl // 4 = Custom Cab w/Styleside Pickup Box.

C = Ford type 3.03 3 Speed Manual all Syncromesh Transmission.

08 = Ford 9" Rear Axle / 3.50-1 / non Limited Slip / 3,300 lb. Rear Axle Capacity.

4500 lbs. Gross Vehicle Weight Rating.

148 net HP @ 4,000 RPM

61 = Dallas TX Ford District Sales Office, where the original selling dealer ordered the truck from.

E5AE-C3B is a 1985 bare block casting number. Since casting numbers cannot be cross referenced to Ford part numbers, and the same block was installed in F150/350's, Bronco's, Econolines and FoMoCo Passenger Cars, it could either be a 302 or 351W.

Beginning in the late 1950's, ALL engine block casting number prefixes have an E as the 4th digit. It's meaningless as it refers to Engineering only!

The E does not refer to any engine size or what vehicle the engine was installed in.

ID number: D2OF-6059-AA = Ford part number: E0AZ-6019-B (replaced D6AZ-6019-A; D3OZ-6019-A & C5OZ-6019-A) .. Timing Cover.

Fits: 1965/79 302 // 1969/79 351W (1979 LTD/Grand Marquis 351W w/o EEC).

Fits: 1980/89 (and later) 302 / 1980/89 (and later) 351W // Note: 1980 and later sold new in CA vehicles used a different timing cover.

ID number: D2AF-11131-BA = I could not find a cross reference for basic number 11131. The only starter ID basic numbers I'm aware of are 11000 or 11001.

Thanks Bill or number dummy or ford parts guru which ever you prefer that was awsome! Of course you are right about the motor right after I posted this I read where you said those numbers were worthless, I do believe it is a 1985 302 out of a truck van or bronco due to dip stick was in the block not timing cover, I say 302 because that is what I was told by an engine guy, He said something about the deck hight.

When u say non limited slip what does that mean, or do you strictly only do numbers? Will the starter fit the 302 in question? D2AF-11131-BA-2A

That means it's an open differential. No Equal-loc or Trac-loc, or "posi" is is often (incorrectly) said.

That means you will usually spin only one wheel if you spin the tires.

If the starter is from a 302, it's specific to an A/T or an M/T.

I'm not sure what the starter is to I have 2 in my garage one has a slightly longer nose on it than the other I have owned a 390, 400, couple of 300 straight sixes and an 89 fuel injected 302. could have come off of any of those motors over the years was hoping you could tell me which.
