For further info, post all the codes found on the Warranty Plate, located on the left door face below the latch.
Note: Compare the VIN on the Warranty Plate with the VIN on the registration to see if they match.
People swapped damaged left doors with used doors. 99.9% of the time, they did not install the original Warranty Plate on the replaced door.
Thank you. A lil more info on the truck, I'm 21 and I've had it since I was 16 I got it from my dads best friend with 117K on it and his dad purchased it from Fred Ockers motors in laramie,wy off the showroom floor. I have the original key with the dealership leather fob and the business card stapled to the front of the owners manual.
That picture was taken several years ago since then it has gotten 35 in. Dick Cepek Mountaincats. It's been my daily since I've owned it until this last December when the original motor finally died after 45 years of being on road. A pretty well built 390 in the works.
390 is the way to go in these beasts for sure. Im trying to free up a froze up 352 in my 65. Probably have to pull it and install a spare 352 that was recenty rebuilt. Post up some pics when you get a chance. Ill be taking a look at the bottom end of the 65 motor in a while when it warms up outside.
