My post was in response to the guy who posted the pictures of someone putting recessed taillights in a styleside.

However, regarding the tail lights and side markers, what year is your flare side? Anything built after 1969 (or was it 68?) came from the factory with side markers. The '80 to '86 flare side tail lights had the side markers build into the sides of the tail light housings.

I saw one of the "Bullnose" trucks in Chalmette. It has the new VW bug tail lights in the fenders. The truck was a show truck that went under water. It is still sitting in the same spot. If I go out that way next week, I will get a picture of it.
