2001 F250 Road Wander

Hey,
My dad has a 01 F250 with a little over 100k. Its got moto metal rims with the stock offset just 18 inch diameter. Stock tire size but BFG A/Ts.

The truck is horrible to drive any distance over 30 miles because you constantly have to pull the truck back to the center. If its going right and you bump it left a little it will keep going left and never seems to straighten out.

Is this a problem with these trucks, and if so, whats the cure?

Take the truck to a trusted front alignment shop, and have them check everything, if it checks ok, could be the steering box or wheel and tire combo. My truck has 132,000 on it and does have new moog ball joints, drives straight down the road.

Good idea. I replaced the ball joints a while back and It didnt do that before now that I think about it. I think alignment is the issue. Thanks!

You should have had it aligned when you replaced the Ball Joints. Have them rotate the tires Before you get it aligned as the front tires may have some strang wear on them by now.
