Well, not from the get-go. I bet if he feels they are worn he'll talk with you about fixing things.
But for $250 it's not 'rebuilding' it with these new wear parts like it reads.

There is practically no wear on 15 degree pumps unless you get dirt in there to score them up.
They are just not aggressive enough.
Joey also will tell you that its a used pump, and nothing can be 100%.
As for what parts he replaces, thats his business.
But I do believe they get all new slippers.
The bore and pistons shouldn't be worn unless your engine is screwed up too.
Either way, its a rebuild on a used pump. The person who is getting a t-500 should know this. Used pump in, used pump out.
You can get the same mods on a brand new bosh 17 as well with a 2 year warranty.
Bottom line is, he's not cobbling together used pumps and advertising them as new.
What other bearings are you thinking of Jim?

1) I swap it with a useable core and send his in to Alliant when purchasing new/reman pumps.
2) He can send me another pump.
3) I can modify a reman or new pump.
Option 1 is the most popular choice.

FWIW, William is correct. 15 degree pumps show less wear then a 17, because of the shorter stroke. The only part of the pump that does show measurable wear is actually the brass revolver, as it is the softest material used in the pump. If it gets to the point that I run out of parts, I will have those revolvers made.
