They are perfect for 48-52 trucks with a SBC because the outlets are already in the right place, they fit within the radiator support, and they are relatively inexpensive. I used one in my 48...

Thanks "old Dan". Iv'e been looking for a good radiator for my 302, jumped on EBAY this morning. They had a 399.00 buy it now price, I offered 275 and they accepted.When I got my truck a mismatched radiator was tie-wired in place with a 3 inch split in the top tank.I think this should stop the antifreeze on the windshield when warm !!!!!!
