GP controller?
GP controller?
hey all. i,m having a problem starting yesterday. my wait to start light blinks on then off followed by clicking noise. took all the wires off the selinoid and cleaned them but still does it. if i checked the glow plugs right they all are ok. with a test light clipped on end on pos side of battery and touched glow plug. is this correct? does it sound like selenoid is bad or is there something else i need to check. thanks for all your help in advance.... oh its my 90 f350 7.3
Did you check and clean the ground? If not, do that, then if it still acts dumb connect a lead to the battery's negative terminal and attach to the ground wire from the glow plug controller. Try that and post back. Oh and when you do the test light procedure, make sure you are touching only the very tip of the glow plug!
thanks wreck. i losened the ground wire thats grounded to the intake and twisted it back and forth couple times and tightend it back down and still wont work. when i get some more time in a little while i,ll take it off and clean it good. i,ll let you know what happens
when mine did that it was the controller its gone down 20 bucks since i bought it.....
