Anyone out there ordering through the Coop program ford offers. Was wondering how long it takes them to get you a build date. I ordered mine 4 weeks ago and there not sure when it will be built but gurantees it will be built. The incentives and rebates I thought made it worth it but am second guessing now.
It's an incentive program for businesses and farms and ranches to be able to order through as part of Land O'Lakes and Ford gives the vehicle at a price lower than retail and generally $5k less than retail on the truck.
Had not heard of this until a few weeks ago. A friend of mine is getting ready to order a new F-350 & was told about this Land O'Lakes program by his dealer. The salesman said that it is in place of any rebates available from Ford. To qualify, he must:
-Join the Co-op
-Title the truck in his businesses name
When he orders his truck, it will be considered a Fleet order, so he will be able to get the carpet delete option (rubber floor) in his XLT w/Premium Package.
Here is a link to a web address with some information. Just realize when you order one through this system Ford does not give priority to building the vehicle as in a retail one. They build it when they have the time and can take nearly 6 months to receive an order depending on when and how busy the factory is.
