Conti Tires recalled

These same 08 and 09 POS tires that came with my 2011 truck are now being recalled not because they dont have any traction in snow or mud but the treads separate just like the old days with the Firestone tires that killed many people. 2011 will be next I bet. They never learn

Yea but it will take 2+ years and my tires will have been replaced by then.
Are the 2011 Conti's the as 2008-2009?

So far, no issues other than they suck on anything other than dry pavement.

I thought they did pretty good this winter. I have also had the BFG TA/KO's and the Nitto Trails on other trucks. I was shocked how well these tires did this winter actually on my 11.

My conti tires were terrible in the snow. They are sitting on the shelf with 4000 miles on them.

I had one fail on my 2008 F250 with only 4500 miles on them, that's why i told the dealer i would not accept my 2011 F350 with Continentals.

I am running BFG A/T KO in the stock size for 20" wheels. They seem to be wearing much better than the stock michelins which were mostly shot at 13k miles. almost 5k on these tires and they look nearly new!
