SWR and DWR question

what exactly is the difference between a single rear wheel axle and a dual rear wheel axle??? and why do people say you cant just slap on dual rear wheels onto the single rear wheel axle??

If its a full floater,you can. Other that the obvious issue's like stud lenth, hub pilot depth, brake size, hub size, etc. Change that stuff and your golden.

so basically..get a dually axle and be happy? haha maybe i can find someone who wants to be SRW and will do a straight swap with me...

Unless you're always pulling a trailer I wouldn't bother. Your adding a lot of weight and tire replacement cost to your truck by going to a drw axle.
