2000 Excursion Coil Springs

Having a major issue finding replacement coil springs for 2000 Excursion 2wd. diesel 7.3 powerstroke with 285,000 miles. Talked to Ford Motor Co. Does not stock springs any longer. Ford gave me two different replacement part companys that don't have them either. Replaced shocks but still having suspension issues. Dealership gave me codes on springs - "s" for front and "a" for rear. Any suggestions as to where I can find them?

I would also check some salvage yards with F250s work trucks with 2WD diesels.

Well, I called around about that and all the suspension mechanics in town say that wouldn't work??? do you have experience with this???

Sorry, no first hand experience. I did see coil springs on sale on CL near me back a couple of months ago. See my thread.

What is CL? I know I'm not the only person on the planet with an excursion that needs new springs! This can't be impossible!!
