exhaust questions

'92 f150 302. a buddy of mine just gave me a set of bbk? headers from his mustang. will these bolt right on my truck? also my truck bogs a little bit when i let off the gas, i think my exhaust is worn out and i dont have back pressure. so that leads me to my next question. since i have headers, i am thinking of doin a whole exhaust system. any opinions about what anybody thinks is the best way to go for mufflers, duals, eliminating resonator, etc. i dont want it to be too too loud, i like to hear the motor ya know

thanks

Stick a potato in your tailpipe. That should give you enough backpressure.

Mustang headers will FIT but will not bolt up to the stock Y pipe.

Go on Youtube and see what you like the sound of.

There are tons and tons of exhaust threads on here already with alot of helpful info. If you do a search in the 87-96 section you will get alot of good info. Alot of people have different opinions on what sounds good or best. Everyone is different.

I personally like true duals with Magnaflow or Borla mufflers.

You think your exhaust is worn out and your truck is bogging due to a lack of backpressure?...lols...

Find the real problem, then do exhaust if that's what you want. Check for codes. Clean your IACV.
