All 2V modulars can have it happen, 3V's were introduced in the F150's in '04. '03 had a
thread number improvement that helps but some still report plugs popping out of them.
All that said the first few years of the 3V's had the plugs stick in the heads and break in
half when removed, that split plug design was fixed in '08.
It is possible for a gorilla to strip the spark plug holes on ANY engine with aluminum heads.
And just as easy for a skilled technician to NOT strip the holes on any year of Triton engine.
So my suggestion is to not focus on year, but on how it was maintained.
Why can't anyone ask a question that there's a straight answer to on here anymore?
What you asked, there was not a straight answer to. There is NOT a single year model 2V that is more or less prone to "blowing out" a spark plug. It's all dependent on initial installation, maintenance quality, and the schedule of that maintenance.
