I just read about the U.S. student that laid in front of a moving Israeli bulldozer and got run over, then it backed up and ran over her again. She was trying to protect a terrorist's house from being demolished.
Maybe I'm not as nice of a guy as I think I am, but this just sounds like an act of stupidity to me. It's not like the bulldozer "jumped" in her path, and the blade prevents good vision to the driver. It accomplishes nothing and only leaves her family to grieve.
It reminds me of the anti-contra protester that laid in front of a moving train expecting it to stop on a dime. Oops, bad call.
how stupid do some people get.. Nothing agaisnt the protest itself... but when flesh and bone meet heavy machinary... really some common sense. ... Like the Woman who got trampled by the wild elephant..
And you wonder why people say we are on a path to distruction?
I have tremendous respect for someone with that kind of commitment, but I have to ask, shouldn't she have been committed before she did something like that?
If it was done in the USA, her family would sue and win hundreds of millions of dollars. "If the D9 doesn't fit, you can not floor it"
