I was going out this afternoon and when I was going to get in the truck as I was walking up to the truck I seen the dreaded black spot under the front of the truck. Most of us have seen this before and know what it is, a dad-gum oil leak some where and I hate a oil leak. It was just a drop so I went on and finished my errands and when I made it back home I crawled under and seen the evidence of a lite oil leak running down the passengers side front of the tranny by the starter. So I popped the hood and looked down in the valley behind the HPOP and fuel bowl and all was dry this is good but looked on back in the valley and yes I found the oil puddle in the very back. I hate a oil leak, it looks like it coming from the HPX fitting and running down to the valley or possibly the turbo pedestal.
I guess I will tighten up a couple fittings and bolts first and use a little simple green to wash it out and go from there. Man I hate a oil leak It has been a little over 2 years since I have had a leak so I guess it was my turn again, maybe I will be lucky and just the little tighten will fix it
